1. Architecture

The firm offers full architectural services from project inception, preliminary and detailed designs, project supervision and professional advice on appointment of other specialised or counterpart Consultants. During the last 30 years, the Firm has been involved in various types of projects ranging from private individual residential buildings to public housing estates, public and commercial buildings, banks, institutional buildings, (Universities, and post primary), recreation buildings, small and large scale agricultural enterprises, small and large scale industrial buildings.

2. Urban and Regional Planning

The Firm offers diverse kinds of planning consultancy services; which include, but are not limited to:

· Surveys; e.g. environmental, social, land use, topographical and economic, estimating housing needs and demands, user satisfaction, etc.

· Specialised Studies; e.g. impact studies on or by proposed development, environmental impact analysis.

· Community Planning; e.g. Land use planning, infrastructure planning, social facilities planning, detailed layouts.

Other services provided in these fields include:

· Regional, town and village planning,

· Traffic and transport management schemes,

· Design and construction of power supplies, agricultural schemes, recreation and sports health and welfare facilities.

3. Engineering Services

The Engineering consultancy services offered include:

· Preliminary engineering studies

· Estimates and programming

· Contract placing

· Construction supervision

4. Development Analysis

The firm offers consultancy services in the following:

· Feasibility studies to determine the appropriateness, profitability or potential social or environmental impact of proposed development.

· Formulating appropriate action plans whose main aim is to arrange the implementation of development plans by continuous adjustments of resources, time scheduling, decision capacities and organizational goals.

NOTE: In addition to our experience in campus planning shown above, Prof U.G. Benna had a wealth of experience in planning university campuses in Nigeria. For example

· 1976-77 He was a Consultant to NUCON Group on Environmental Issues on Campus Planning for the 8 new Nigerian universities.

· 1978 - 80 He was a member of Archcon/Norman & Dawbarn in charge of the development of 'Action Plan' for the University of Sokoto Campus.

· 1981 He was involved Bauchi University of Technology Master Plan Competition.
